I'd believe since she measured you initially. It does depend

on who measures you since each may do it a little differently.

I've noticed a lot of people who have posted a higher body fat percentage than me (32%), but weigh quite a bit less than me (230 lbs). This sounds odd to me. Does this mean that I have a lot of muscle? I know that my legs are very muscular from 12 years of cheerleading and gymnastics, but that's really the only place on my body I would consider "muscular". Almost all of my fat is around my middle, in my breasts and my cheeks. Everywhere else I look like a skinny minny. If this does mean that I am more muscular than your average chubby would that also mean that I should have pretty quick results with BFL? I thought that the more muscle mass you have the better you burn fat.

Well, I know that my body fat measurement was correct because they used a contraption at the gym where they put this little thingamajig on your upper arm and it measures your body fat (not calipers) and prints out the results. It's supposed to be quite accurate. It just always seems weird how even people who are the same height and weight can look different sizes and wear different size clothes.

, I just thought i let you know my body fat is 52% and i weigh 256lbs. I belieave that it has to do with your height and your body structure. Becuase you are also weighing your Bones, Organs and other things in your body. Plus the Human head weighs like 7-8lbs. So the right person to ask would be your Doctor. Hope this helps. Jen

,

The device is an infrared body composition monitor. They are usually made by

Futrex. Go to Futrex.com and see if you recognize one of the professional

models. The Georgia University site mentioned by someone here recently says

that they are not all that accurate if you have high body fat or low

bodyfat, but are pretty good if your BF is in the middle.
