I totally understand! My last free day was my niece's birthday and I

had a little slice of chocolate cake with one of those sugar

decorations on it and it almost made me sick from all of the sugar! I

NEVER thought I would get to that point - it's amazing isn't it?!? :-)

It is all a matter of getting those insulin levels balanced. Now

that you are eating 6 meals a day, you shouldn't have the highs and

lows that you used to have. Your cravings for sweets and carbs

aren't as strong as before so you can say no to those sweeter foods a

lot easier than you used to.

It's great, isn't it? I feel so much more balanced most of the time

than I used to feel.

I find myself actually looking forward to a Myoplex shake now! It

seems so cold and hydrating! And everyone at work kids me because I

often bring yams and cottage cheese to work, but I relish every bite

of it! I guess you could say " I yam what I yam " ! Jeanne
