Ok, today I got most of my groceries from a very nice organic store.

I got beets and cabbage to make kvass and kraut. I got some rolled

oats (they actually have a grinder right there for customers to

grind their grains fresh!!!!) and maple syrup. I got some organic

cream (so I don't have to skim my milk) and some organic whole

yogurt. I have most of the yogurt in my yogurt cheese maker to make

cream cheese and I'll use the whey for the kraut and for soaking the

oatmeal. We ate the rest of the yogurt for lunch sweetened with

maplesyrup and I put walnuts in it (not crispy but I did get some

pumpkin seeds to make pepitas!) Extra virgin olive oil was on sale

so I picked some up. About the pepitas, my oven only goes down to

200, I tried cracking the door open but that makes the temp

fluctuate constantly from about 90 to 180 degrees. What would be the

best way to make crispy nuts? I don't yet have a dehydrator. And

(this is the best part) I get to get THE BOOK tommorow!!!!! WOO

HOO!!!!!!! *doin the happy dance*
