Guest guest
Hi , I have lots of people see me out of network (I’m not contracted with their insurance company). The insurance company can say whatever they want, but if you have no contract with them, they cannot dictate what you charge the patient. The insurance co may pay you or the patient what they want to pay, and you can collect the amount left from their payment and your charge. I don’t know why these insurance companies send the EOBs looking like they can force us to adjust off a certain amount when we don’t have a contract with them. I have verified this with my medical consultant and the insurance companies themselves. A. Eads, M.D. Pinnacle Family Medicine, PLLC phone fax P.O.
