Opt Out Program to keep our Prescribing data away from Drug Reps.

Great news for all physicians. Those of us who are bothered by Drug

Reps having our prescribing information now have a way to opt out. To

do this one can go online to

www.ama-assn.org/go/prescribingdata

Non AMA members must establish an AMA Internet ID. The whole thing

takes less than a minute.

We could also call for further assistance.

I have done this as I am tired of the Drug Reps knowing my prescribing

habits and putting on high pressure sales tactics. One caveat, this

opt out is good only for three years.
