Do we create? Great question Heidi.

As a fine artist I know the fear of facing a blank canvas or sheet

of watercolor paper, but I also know the joy of creating something of

value with my paints, my self expession and my skills. I find there

is nothing like the high from creating.

Being a creative person also spills over into other areas of my

life, and in doing so enriches the whole of my life.

I am grateful I was raised in a family where the effort to be

creative was respected and admired in all walks of life, from fine

art, crafts, cooking, homemaking and all the many sciences.

I feel sorry for those who miss out on being creative. What a shame

and what a loss to society. We all harbor talents above and beyond

what we think we have and it is fun and gratifying to experiement and

find out what the are no matter what area we choose to explore. I say

screw up your courage and go for it!
