have a 78 yo japanese man who's been a pt for a while. he has elevated PSA , prob CA and he's not interested in getting a biopsy. in dec, he started having dysuria, nocturia every hr, couldn't sit or lie down or would feel the irge to urinate and defecate. he would dribble unless he walks around. pain would be better when he urinates. he thought it would go away. i only found out when i saw him for his follow-up in mid jan .UA showed hi WBC and leucocyte esterase, mod blood, hi protein.put him on UNDA 2, 7, 44, 38, 6 times a day, solidago complex from markopharma (for UTI's) , sitz baths, acupunture. staphysagria and cantharis alternate days.repeated UA 2 wks later and no change in blood or

WBC. plan: continue on UNDA'ssaw him 2 wks ago , UA showed trace blood but WBC is hi and leucocyte est also hi and glucose is showing up in the ua. his energy is a little better, nocturia now q1-1.5 hrs, pain is better.UNDA 2, 7, 15, 37, 6 times a day. chimaphila 30k qd, aroma 4-- qid, sitz bathshe called 2 days ago wanting a refill on the UNDA's and said he's getting better slowly. i had him do another ua yest. there's more blood than 2 wks ago, WBC and leuc est is still hi , glucose is normal and now protein is high again.should one expect the infection to have resolved after 6 wks on the UNDA's at 6 times a day? (i was ) should i add something else? wondering if i'm missing something here.thanksaloha Tan, ND,
