Mike, often cold hands and feet indicates a low thyroid problem, it can lead to Reynauds disease in which circulation to the fingers is severely reduced. A simple test is to take armpit temperature 10 minutes before getting out of bed. If it is below 36.4 deg C (97.8 Deg F) several days running, then chances are that the problem is low thyroid.
