I had spent my whole life being a " night owl, " and it was a standing joke with everyone who knew me that even if for some reason my body was awake early, my brain wouldn't join it until 10 AM at the earliest. And yet the very day after I started Atkins I woke at 5:30, full of energy, and I continued that way ever since.
