ahhh, a " health food nut " .

but is your health food healthy? :D

really, it's not as bad as you think. you can swallow ONE bite of anything,

ya know? really you can. it's easier with salt, too. but i'm tellin' you,

just take it a little bit at a time. also, you can make it a contest

between you and your son! dare each other outlandishly! get really crazy

with it! especially boys - they make it easy. if his friends dared him to

eat a worm, prolly he would. why not fat? you can do it! just remember -

the crazier and zanier you are about it, the more it will be fun and the

less it will be gross.

also, if you find you can't eat all the fat, save it and use it to fry

vegetables or potatoes or something. if you need a carrier for the fat,

well, that's fine - as long as you get it into you!

and in the meantime, make sure you're eating plenty of butter and coconut

oil so that your body gets some fat!!

But ... if you eat the fat and then don't feel good, try coconut oil!

Our family just couldn't digest fat for a long time ... animal fats

are harder to break down than coconut oil is. Once your

digestion gets better and enzymes work better, it's easier

to have more fat in your diet.

I also find my desire for fat changes, daily sometimes. I think

your body will tell you what it wants. Sometimes all I want

is lots of grapefruit, sometimes I only want the lean on a steak,

sometimes I want a nice fat steak.

about the only meat fat i really like is BACON. of course it has to be

'healthy bacon.

but having said that, maybe I'll get me some extra virgin coconut oil,

the stuff that smells and tastes like coconut, and eat it by the spoonful

right out of the jar.

But ... if you eat the fat and then don't feel good, try coconut oil!

I am so lucky. 5 minutes down the road from me is a butcher who makes bacon,

ham, salami, etc., etc., to traditional recipes - no nasties. His produce is

absolutely delicious and he has won many awards - local, national, and he has

just come home from a world competion in Germany. He won a gold medal for his

wallaby sausages.
