Guest guest
>i love the rice almond bread at trader joes. it is so moist and wonderful when toasted. only thing is it lacks salt. hey, heidi, how about creating a recipe for it revising it with a little salt so that it will taste even more yummy! > > Ummm ... how about toasting it til it is nice and crispy, then rubbing a raw half a garlic clove over it, sprinkling it with salt, then drizzling olive oil over it? Or slathering it with salted garlic butter. Toast MUST have garlic! (or if you are a butter/jam person, just use salted butter). I'll post my bread recipe later, but I've never experimented with almond flour (my dh isn't into nuts). I know what you mean though, they don't put salt in anything anymore.
