Guest guest
whoa! ! if i were you i would make some wonderful fermented grape drinks... sally has a recipe requiring a case of grapes. one year when grapes were on sale...i made a wonderful sauteed chicken dish with grapes and champagne. also i have a grape bread recipe...i think it requires sugar but perhaps it could be modified. it's in Carol Field's the Italian Baker. it might be in your library. how about trying your hand at making wine? :-) laura On Wed, 23 Jun 2004 12:49:37 -0700 (PDT) <dianamagic2000@...> writes: my grapes are almost ripe and every year i get too many at one time. they are thompson seedless. i tried freezing them and it just did not work out. does anyone know what i can do with them? thanks, diana

My mother boils them, the strains them in a jelly bag. Or you can rent a good winepress. Once you have the juice you can make kefir beer or wine from it. You can also make wine from the whole grapes, tho it's easier if you freeze them first. -- Heidi Jean
