I'm a new member. Name's Jonathon and I live in Orlando, Florida. I

was excited to stumble across this group as I have been following the

advice of NT on and off for a good amount of time. I have a question

for all of you: I was wondering if any of you had any thoughts or

opinions regard the Primal Diet as espoused by author Aajonus

Vonderplanitz: http://www.primaldiet.com/? He basically suggests a

diet dominated by raw animal products. Meat, eggs, butter, cheese,

etc. All from pasture fed animals. He is very much against cooking of

any kind and believes it leads to disease. Did Dr. Price ever

encounter a group that ate an all raw diet or did he notice health

differences between those who ate more raw food and those who did

not? Aajonus claims to have cured many diseases that western medical

science deemed uncurable. Just curious as to your thoughts or

opinions. Thanks a lot in advance

Regards,

Jonathon

hi ,

if I'm not mistaken, Dr. price found that all the healthy peoples he

discovered who were untouched by the western diet, had certain things in

common.

they all ate both animal and plant products, and they ate them both raw

and cooked. so, cooked animals, raw animals, cooked plants, raw plants.

that, and fermented products, and 'sacred foods' that were high in fat

soluble vitamins and helped promote fertility.

someone correct me if I'm wrong.

best to you, .

laura

Welcome, Latinflower. I'm sorry about your troubles.

Maybe you should seek a second opinion about your throat.

If you think it might be the MTX, you could move to MTX injections.

Not an MD

Hi Daisy:

Thank you, and I hope your shot of Enbrel goes well. From what I have

read about it, those who can take it, do very well. I hope you are one

of the lucky ones. It is really wonderful when we find the right meds.

that help us get out of all that terrible pain.

I have never taken Motrin as I have a bad stomach, and know it would

destroy mine. I have to be so careful in all the meds. I take.

The only pain I have right now is from my left knee. It started 3 weeks

ago, and has just gotten worse. I will see my Orthopedic Dr. Mon., and

get a total knee replacement as soon as possible. I had the right one

done 3 years ago, and it is just perfect. Not one ache or pain since I

had it replaced. I hope for the same on my left knee.

Wishing you many pain free days ahead. Again, good luck with your

Enbrel shot.

Hugs,

Barbara
