Guest guest
Tamera, I'm sorry I haven't responded yet to your back-channel about the ActivEEG electrodes not apparently working. It's possible that the short DIN-plug wires have gotten pulled loose, though why that would have happened only to the two yellow-wired electrodes, I'm not sure. I can't think of anything else that would have affected just those electrodes but not the blue-wired ones plugged into the same jacks. You can replace individual electrodes. Check with Foxx (foxx@...) if you want info on doing that. I used Activ's for years without any prepping at all and never worried about the signal. Now, when I use them, I prep as I would normally before placing them, and I'm even more confident that zero impedance really means something pretty close to that. Pete That makes a lot of sense, Pete. Thank you for the in-depth response! Because I don't trust my Actives and know I'm not always 100%, I'm constantly staring at the oscilloscope at the start of sessions trying to figure out whether I have good connections (and have added it to instruments 2 of protocols that don't come with it or come with one that's too small), but I can only pick up on gross problems rather than smaller ones. Having that extra bit of information would be helpful. .. -- Van Deusenpvdtlc@... http://www.brain-trainer.com305/433-3160The Learning Curve, Inc.
