Guest guest
Anyone use a jerky gun? Are they worth it? I'm big into making beef jerky and would like to try making some with ground beef. I'm also big into saving time in the kitchen, if this device would help with that. Elaine

I press hamburger mixed with kefiili and spices into the dehydrating dish meant for fruit leather. When it is dry I cut it into strips with kitchen shears ... MUCH EASIER. However, it doesn't taste as good to me as real meat jerky. It's easier to chew tho, for those that don't like chewing. BTW there is jerky PDF in the FILES section if you want hints. -- Heidi Jean
