I am so confused with what is going o with and hope SOMEONE can offer

me advice.

After a months reprieve, he is back to complaining that his nose 'up here

Mummy' as he shoves a finger in to show me, is hurting. It wakes him in the

night, he is very distressed over it, and it obviously is causing him alot of

pain and discomfort.

I know little about sinusitis except that it might be expected with his pid

that he have it. However, the head CT scan done at the end of Jan to

investigate for brain tumour showed no signs of sinusitis. He has no

discharge, no currrent cold. He has, over the space of the past 2 weeks,

developed a huge allergy to our chinchilla cat which has him furiuosly

rubbing his eyes and nose. He had tested mildly allergic to cat late last

year when the immuno ran some allergy work up, but although we were prepared

to foster out our cat the immuno felt it was not neccesary. Back then

didnt show any signs of cat allergy, so the results surprised us. I

assume allergies can get worse over short periods of time? so we are in the

process of looking for a new home for our 10yo cat.

I dontknow what to do about , though. Does this sound like

sinusitis?? Is there anything that should be done? I have been giving him

Zyrtec to calm the cat allergy, and relieve any sinus pressurre that may be

there. My other concern is that he is on Indomethacen for the CPH. I would

have thought this med would have helped to relieve the pain?

, Mum to (5) and (3), both with selective IgA def,

dysfunctional antibody def, hypothyroidism,GI issues, asthma, etc
