Guest guest
I've noticed my face being very shiny over the last week and half or so. The main thing I've done different is I've been drinking smoothies with raw eggs, (refined) coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, yogurt, etc. Raw eggs I usually use. Coconut oil I haven't used in a while, and I'm using twice as much as I've ever used (6-8 tbsp/day). EVOO I've used before in abundance off and on. It would seem that the coconut oil is the main different thing. Has anyone else experienced shiny skin resulting from coconut oil use or use of other coconut products? EVOO probably helps too from the squalene, but I haven't noticed it before during times when I've used more than I'm using now. By the way, I thought the EVOO would be gross in a smoothie and just used it for health benefit, but I found that it offsets the taste of the coconut oil well. Cheap coconut oil tends to taste like crap (I can't afford Supreme, which is the stuff I really like, or TT, which is second best), and at a ratio of 4:1 CO:EVOO the taste balances well.
