I'm offering three online workshops this fall based on the ones that have been requested.Trainer's Practicum workshop (limited to 10 participants) is the advanced step in gaining skill to develop training plans based on the TLC assessment. Participans should have taken the Level 2 workshop (in person, online or the recorded version) and be comfortable with the training categories and the assessment. The TP entails 6 sessions of 2 hours each. In the first session we will cover two major issues not covered at all in Level 2: artifacting assessment data and " skimming " the assessment to identify the " organizing principle " of the EEG. Skimming in particular is an important skill, since it covers reading the Histograms, Maps and Variance pages. These, combined with the Analyze, Heads and Reports views covered in Level 2, provide a very fast and accurate view of the brain.

Each participant will submit at least one assessment for the group to review, and each of the last five meetings will involve analyzing and preparing a training plan for two of the assessments (one in each hour). Participants will know which assessments are to be evaluated in each session, so they have an opportunity to develop plans for each prior to the

meeting. The workshops will be held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, beginning October 25/26, continuing November 1/2 through November 8/9. The time will be selected based on the areas from which participants sign up. Cost of this 12-hour workshop will be $450, and it will include copies

of all assessments and voice recordings of the training calls plus

Power Point slides covering the skimming and artifacting segments. In the past we've been able to accomodate participants from Australia, Europe and the US.

Getting the most from BioExplorer workshop will provide 8 hours of training (4 2-hour meetings) in BioExplorer, ranging from setting up the program to using the various objects available to the trainer and including working with the Signal Diagram to recognize what a design is doing and how to adjust it. We will discuss the tools used by trainers during the training session to control the process and maximize training gains. The workshop will also cover using BioReview for graphing and outputting data from sessions. The cost will be $325, and it will cover PowerPoint slides and audio recordings of the sessions. The workshops will be held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, beginning

October 25/26, concluding November 1/2. The time

will be selected based on the areas from which participants sign up.Adapting the TLC BioExplorer Designs workshop will be held this time in two 2-hour meeting that take users of the TLC training designs in BioExplorer through the process of making changes in filters, feedback, use of games and DVD's (including using the Server object, which provides an interface to external games) among other issues. In this way trainers can adjust the template protocols to customize them for individual client needs. Participants will be asked to submit a list of questions prior to the workshop. Having completed the Getting the Most from BioExplorer workshop (onsite or online) or having a strong working knowledge of BE would be important for those wishing to get their money's worth from this workshop, as we won't go over the basics. The price is $175, and the workshop will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 8/9. Time will be set based on participants. Recorded workshop audio will be included.

In order to participate, you will need a fast internet connection,

since we'll all join up at a gotomeeting link, so everyone can see the

same screen at the same time. There will also be a US number for

conference call, so participants from outside the US may wish to use

Skype or some other VOIP provider. You should be able to sign up

online for the workshop(s) of your choice within a few days. Foxx will announce the link on the

list. All workshops are limited in size to allow everyone to participate, ask questions, etc.Next online workshops are not expected until mid-winter 2009.If you are interested in the workshops but have questions about them, don't hesitate to ask.
