Guest guest
hi robin, i was hospitalized for severe depression once. since i gave up sugar (it was a LONG SLOW and pretty painless process) depression is almost all but a memory. i still eat wheat. how i got off sugar: www.radiantrecovery.com but she is not WAPF friendly. well, not yet anyway! :-) I'm working on combining the two, with Tas' help (thank you Tas'!) Tas' is also a radiantrecovery.com aficionado. i highly recommend the web site and her books! i consider them to be a life saver. and i LOVE life without sugar; something the sugar addict in me (MAJOR addict) could never say until the last couple years or so. whenever i want something sweet i have fruit. i didn't like fruit when i was a sugar addict. it was BORING. but now i LOVE it and relish every bite. laura I fight with depression (I'm not on medication right now) and have a problem with my teeth always getting cavities (which I read with interest when you said that could be a symptom of gluten intolerance) despite my healthy diet and teeth care.
