Guest guest
hi all, I've given up sugar, alcohol and white flour, 3 things i thought would be impossible. I'm working on caffeine. have been working on it for years. i might even succeed some day. 'gluten' has been buzzing in my ears for a long time now; years. up until and including now, for me it is like 'another thing' to give up. pretty soon I'll be living on just lettuce and chicken. well, i hadn't had any wheat yet today. i just decided to have a piece of spelt sourdough toast with some raw cheese on top. soon after i ate it developed a wicked case of the hiccups. is it possible this is a sign i am, de facto, allergic to gluten whether it's sourdough or not? i probably am anyway. i have a weight problem and think that if i could just give it up, maybe i could even drink raw milk with getting gas, bloating and diarrhea. but for right now, I'm going to go have another piece of spelt sourdough toast with raw cheddar on it. :-) laura
