I haven't read it, but that's pretty much my diet! I disagree with the

Paleo folks about tubers (and legumes, more or less) but tho I do

cook with some non-grass " grains " they don't seem to do me any

good so they are " splurge " kind of foods, and I don't get along

with dairy much. But I eat lots of produce, and I love it! And I

loves my hash browns and grass-fed steak. And my body is

doing better than it ever has ...

Combining this sort of eating with the Warrior Diet feast/fast

approach seems to work really well for the insulin issues

too (the WD would probably help even without the good

foods). But I feel really good just nibbling on fresh fruits

and vegies all day. Or not ... yesterday I was forced by

circumstances to be " on the go " from 7am to 7pm with

no food and only a little water, and amazingly enough

it wasn't even difficult (tho I DID eat a big meal when I

finally got home!). I had plenty of energy and was able to

concentrate just fine. Which makes sense from a hunter/gatherer

point of view ... if you have no food, you should be able

to be alert and energetic to go GET some!

I'd be interested to know how it fits with Price's work

though. I agree with Suze that Price wasn't against

grains or milk at all, rather the opposite. Reading his work

though, personally I see the signs of gluten intolerance

in those folks who were newly introduced to " white flour

and sugar " (something that has been documented more

recently in tribal cultures that get Western food -- they

suddenly get celiac).
