Guest guest
hi , a year ago i spent a fortune on underwear. i have 2 very comfortable brassieres, and one not as comfortable. but even the comfie ones, i still chafe under the breasts and it's very uncomfortable. i spent $50 for each of the comfie ones. and they are underwires. i don't know what brand; i don't feel like taking it off to look or going upstairs to look at the other one right now. I'll try to remember to email that info later. thanks for the tip...Wacoal. where can i find them? i get mine from a small store owned and run by an older woman who has been doing this for decades and knows how to properly fit. she also specializes in bras for us big gals. about the thighs, i wear men's boxers but they don't do the trick. where can i find your bloomer type thingies? i would love them as i wear skirts most of the time. i look much better in them than pants. huge butt and thighs can be more easily disguised in a skirt that is flattering (not always easy to find). i wear a denim skirt most of the time. it's my uniform. that and lands end tops with a deep scoop neck which is also more flattering. thanks, laura 1) are you wearing properly fitting bras? I spent many years in agony before someone gave me their *used* Wacoal bra. I was *stunned* at how comfortable it is. They are over $50 each but I don't care. I haven't worn any other brand in 5 years. I literally can't even tell I have one on, and I used to be so uncomfortable, I couldn't lean over to pick up stuff without being jabbed, I would be bleeding from being rubbed raw. If Wacoal doesn't work, try some other high end brands (by high end, I mean well designed!) 2) I don't wear skirts or pants with too long of a rise. I wear long boxer shorts, or garments I can't really describe--almost like bloomers or old-school knickers. Loose, light, breathable cotton that sits near my torso but hangs down to keep my thighs from chafing.
