Guest guest
Ok, I tried making thiss recipe I found in the archives... Breadsticks 3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1 1/4 cups yoghurt 4 Tbs. softened butter Mix together and leave in warm place overnight. Then add: 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt 1 tsp. baking soda 3 Tbs. raw honey Shape into breadsticks. Then mix some olive oil with whatever spices you like (like garlic or parmesan cheese, etc.) and brush over the top. If you don't do the olive oil, the tops will not brown. Cook at 350* for about 15 minutes, or whenever they are browned. However when I tried to mix the flour it was waaaay too dry, I couln't mix it. To get even just most of the flour damp I had to add 4 more tbsp of butter and about a cup more yogurt. By morning though it was soo wet that I ended up with a sheet instead of sticks (smelled pretty good though) can I follow the recipe even if only a small portion of flour is wet when I put it up for the night? These sounded so good I'd love to get it right! Mrs. Siemens Helpmeet to , mommy to Zachary & Lydia " For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation....
