Guest guest
Hi, Recenly I have had some strange, random problems. A few weeks ago I would wake up with a completely numb left hand every night, and this lasted for around a week, and now I only notice this occassionally. Now around two weeks ago my skin has become very easily irritated... it easily turns red when rubbed or scraped, and has been so everyday. Now most recently, I have been experiencing sporatic episodes of eye twitching in my right eye several times a day for a couple days. This seems much better today. These problems could all be over in a day for all I know, and also not even be one bit diet related, but I was hoping someone could shed some light... Thanks a lot, Blake

A few weeks ago I >would wake up with a completely numb left hand every night, and this >lasted for around a week, and now I only notice this occassionally. This started happening to me last fall. I was also having a few episodes of night sweats. There could be several underlying reasons, but I *think* my problem may be chronic mercury poisoning from my dental amalgams. The loss of sensation in limbs is just one of a myriad of symptoms (I have many others). So is night sweats. However, at that time I had no clue what it was, and my ND put me on some antioxidants and I starte on Armour thyroid for a low functioning thyroid. I've only had the numbness a couple of times over a several month period since then, rather than several times a week. Much of the symptoms mercury toxicity causes are due to oxidative damage, so I suspect that the antioxidants have alleviated my symptoms. Another possibility is carpal tunnel syndrome, if you are on the computer a lot. Now most recently, I have been experiencing sporatic >episodes of eye twitching in my right eye several times a day for a >couple days. Yeh, I had that too. Gone now. I can't speak to the irritatated skin. This seems much better today. Even if it goes away it's your body telling you something is amiss. I'm sure this cluster of symptoms could suggest several things, but I can only tell you about the one underlying cause that I'm aware of - mercury. Do you have amalgams? Or have you had any recent exposure to mercury? Unfortunately that's sometimes hard to tell since it's fairly ubiquitous in so many products, including new car seats, I believe :-( But I doubt you'd get poisoning symptoms from " new car smell " alone. Good luck! Hope you figure out what it is. Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. Web Design & Development http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze3shjg Weston A. Guest guest
Hey Blake, I've had this when I had to spend the night on the couch because a visitor would sleep in my bed. I think it was because of the hard couch. I woke up at night in the dark room and a HAND was on my face! It was cold and dead, didn't react when I touched it with my left hand and tried to pull it from my face! I pulled more and finally felt that on the upper right arm and realized that my right hand and arm was numb and was laying on my face. It was HORROR! So, the next time that happened, it wasn't as drastic and I knew what it was and would just start touching that arm and hand and rub it until the arm was able to move again on its own, then move it until everything was normal again.
