Guest guest
Dear & Marta, Thanks for sharing experiences. , did the hyst solve the problem? No fibroids in other areas? Marta, before you agree to hyst, take a minute to check this site... My " gut " tells me this is one of the best " finds " yet (for me) on the net. Yes, I believe fibroids are caused by a virus - so is cancer! (Don't mean to frighten anyone here - but this is not new info.) Researchers proved this in the early 1900s. Although I'm not a medical person, I feel that perhaps this is why so many lymies have abnormal paps & so many people & pets with lyme do eventually develop cancer - besides the unbelieveable lowering of the immune system. <A HREF= " http://www.excel.net/~jaguar/pplo.html " >Mycoplasma Involvement in Cancer + AIDS</A> Hope this helps! Guest guest
Hi Marta, Yes - it's recommending rife ray for mycoplasms, cancer, aids & I believe it talks about lyme too. I do have frequencies for fibroids if you're interested (no interest, other than helping with what I've learned). Incidentally, the frequencies for this are the same as for the cancer organisms Rife (and many others) isolated. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for your input, I do appreciate it. I go for the endometrial biopsy today, although I act like it is no big deal to family and friends (other than my Lyme friends) I guess I am nervous as I have been up since 2AM, little sleep I got seemed to be all disturbing dreams. I have always had bad cramps (except when pregnant, then on the pill afterward, so it is pretty much a way of life for me. Prior to LD, I had three D & C's and that never worked, so I guess I cannot attribute this to LD. As a matter of fact, while working I was missing so much work each month due to the heavy bleeding and cramps that I opted to have a hysterectomy, I was scheduled for surgery Sept 96, but canceled as I was so sick with LD & HME, my bite was 8/96. I was unable to work since 10/96, and disabled since then, so since I was missing work anyway, the hysterectomy seemed unnecessary. Eventually my herxing began to coincide with my period, I felt lousy anyway. I put off seeing the gyn for two years, finally my Lyme doc insisted I go, so the result of my exam brought me to this biopsy after ultrasound was done. I am glad that the surgery was easy for you, but I just am a chicken and hope it doesn't come to that. Glad you don't have to take HRT, I have too many risk factors to do that....I never thought I would be longing for Menopause....LOL! Guest guest
Hi Tried to read the web site, but Lyme brain and lack of medical knowledge prevent me from getting the point. I do see Rife mentioned so I am assuming that it is recommending that type treatment for Cancer and AIDS and Mycoplasma???? Sorry to be so dense, but I really am having a concentration problem reading of late, scaring me, as I love to read, and find myself reading the same paragraphs over and over and not understanding what I read.....oh well, PET SCAN will show if something is wrong there I guess, I go on Feb 5. Guest guest
how do you *feel*? if i were you, and it didn't cause me pain, i'd just not worry about it. eat well. take CLO. drink high quality herbal teas. get enough rest. that's what i'd do! it sounds to me that you have a gut feeling about this already - what does it say? -katja At 01:49 PM 6/25/2004, you wrote: >Hi, >I have a question. Guest guest
Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. You're right, I have a gut feeling to do exactly what you suggest! I had hoped that a naturopath would not recommend unnecessary procedures, but I really don't want a biopsy done if the risk of cancer is so low -- it is an invasive procedure. But it's hard to hold out in the face of doctors telling you all kinds of terrible things will happen if you don't do what they say. Ann > >Hi, > >I have a question. Guest guest
boy, i hear you. and i'm not a doctor, i'm just a practitioner, so i can't cheer you up by giving you " doctor's advice " . but i'll tell ya, if you need something to remind you that doctors are not the gods society makes them out to be, read this article on stephen byrnes' site about how his doctors treated him. you don't even have to read the whole article, just skip down to the conversation he has with the doctor (it's written like a script, you'll see it right off) - that will put the wind in your sails! http://www.powerhealth.net/archives/1May2004.htm -katja At 02:14 PM 6/25/2004, you wrote: >Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. Guest guest
I was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid (one growing on the inside of my uterus) one year ago. It is gone. Not a trace of it left. I eat pretty strict (no grain/dairy/sugars) except for occasional cheats (non gluten grains and on occasion raw goat dairy) have weekly acupuncture and use Chinese herbs three weeks out of the month. I also use Garden Of Life RM10 as well as Primal Defense. I also did a lot of soul searching to get to the root energetic cause and worked on that level as well. Good luck to you. Guest guest
It was discovered that I have fibroids during my C-section 8 years ago. They shrank by the time I had another ultrasound 6 months later. Since then, I didn't feel like I had any particular problems with them. However, my periods did get longer, heavier, and closer together. About 2 years ago I started avoiding soy. That made my periods lighter, shorter, and farther apart. It also stopped PMS. About 15 months ago I started taking cod liver oil. That stopped the flooding incidents. I take 1 tablespoon in the morning. So if I were you, I would try avoiding soy (read those ingredient lists!!), and start taking cod liver oil. I would only consider surgery if I had tried everything else and was totally anemic, going downhill, etc. I'm 48. Like you, I figure menopause is right around the corner, and they will likely shrink when that happens. In the meantime, I can't tell that they are giving me any serious problems at all. --- In , " annbekins " <annbekins@y...> wrote: > Hi, > I have a question. Guest guest
Hi Ann, I had fibroids removed with a myomectomey when I was 45. Now I'm 50. They were too large to leave alone and growing fast. But at the time the alternative doctor I used treated me with a soy supplement so I'm sure that contributed to their rapid growth. Since then my periods remained short and sweet until recently .....they're slowly have been getting heavier. Not anything like what I was dealing with when I had the fibroids but enough that I suspect they're back. At this point I won't do a thing as I'm too close to menopause to worry about them. If you're interested here is a very comprehensive site on fibroids. http://www.uterinefibroids.com/ This is also a very good article: http://westonaprice.org/women/menorrhagia.html Lynn --- In , " annbekins " <annbekins@y...> wrote: > Hi, > I have a question. Guest guest
Lynn, Thank you so much for the link to the uterine fibroids website -- it was very helpful! Thanks to everyone who answered -- I am taking the iron and some other herbal supplements my ND prescribed, plus I have doubled my cod liver oil intake. I talked to my ND again, and agreed to have a biopsy to be sure a thickened part of the uterus is not cancerous (very unlikely, but might as well rule it out), and I am confident after talking with her that whatever the gynecologist might recommend, my ND will support me in finding alternative solutions -- I am planning on a combination of " Continuing To Eat in NT Fashion " , plus " Ignoring It And Waiting For Menopause. The body will heal and shrink them as it sees fit, along with other healing that needs to take place. But you could do what this woman did, i.e. take megadoses of your cod liver oil and/or vitamin A and also I would advise taking 2 extra vitamin C tablets per day (for the bioflavonoids in it): http://www.westonaprice.org/women/menorrhagia.html Bee
