Ohio Folks,

I have some more details about two appearences that Sally

Fallon will be making in Ohio:

----------------

August 20, 2004 is " Local Food for Healthy Children and Profitable

Family Farms "

It's in Berlin, Ohio at the Hiland High School Gymnasium on S.R. 39

east of Berlin. The program starts at 9:00 a.m.

Speakers include:

Klines on healthy soils

Dr.Mladen Golubic on organic food nutritional advantage

Sally Fallon on Splendor from Grass and How to Keep the

Value Added Down on the Farm.

----------------

August 21, 2004 is " Nourishing Traditions: Food for Life "

It's at Fisher Auditorium/OARDC 1680 Madison Avenue in Wooster,

Ohio.

Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. Sally Fallon is the feature

speaker all day. Cost for meetings is $8.00 per day. Meeting

plus local food meal is $23.00 per day or $40 for both days.

[i assume that this means $8 for Berlin, $8 for Wooster, and $40

food for both days. No word on how long it lasts.]

Registrations are due by August 13. Make checks payable to North

Central Ohio Grazing Council, P.O. Box 214, sburg,

Oh 44654.

------------------

Questions: call Schlabach at 330 465-7194.

,

Go to Maps or Mapquest.com and enter your location and the location of the

seminar. Both will give you driving directions.

I live north of Columbus, south of Mansfield, near Mt. Gilead. Do you live in

the city of Columbus?

Irene,

I'm just outside of Columbus in the city of Bexley, but it's basically Columbus

since I'm five minutes from downtown. Thanks for the info.

,

I too, live in Columbus and I've driven through both Berlin and

Wooster many times. Wooster is just straight up I-71 to Rte. 30, turn

East, stay on 30 until you hit Wooster. (I'm a little fuzzy on exactly

where to get off in Wooster but that should present itself when I get

there. It should take between 2.5 and 3 hours depending on how you

drive. To get to Berlin, drive straight (now there's a funny word on

I-62) and you'll drive straight through Berlin. Again, it should take

between 2.5 and 3 hours.
