NYC gets quite hot and humid in the summer and, at least at times, very cold in the winter. London is much more even, isn't it? , We get our fair share of very hot and humid weather in London too... when it's not hot it's still humid, in the form of rain :-) ... it's not as cold as NYC in winter though... maybe it's something to do with distance from the sea, salty air etc.?...
