Guest guest
I made fish sauce back in the early spring of this year. I fermented it, drained it, and put it in the fridge, all according to NT. I have not made anything with it - is it too late? Anyone know how long the stuff lasts in the fridge? It's been several months. BTW, what happened to ? Is he still on the list? I had to go no-mail for a while and when I returned there were no traces of him whatsoever, not even an off-hand comment about tasty insects...... Guest guest
I didn't think fermented stuff goes bad... i figured it's already gone bad, in a (good) way! But you should be able to tell pretty quick by the smell, no? > I made fish sauce back in the early spring of this year. I fermented it, > drained it, and put it in the fridge, all according to NT. I tend to scan the subject lines on the website now and again, sometimes getting drawn into a thread... I hope to be a bit more reliable in the near future... I've been munching on raw crickets and grasshoppers these days (e.g. as a snack while mowing the lawn), whereas before I was nervous and always cooked them... It's weird how stuff seems like a big deal at first and then after a while you don't think twice about it...
