Have you ever tried the stuff from Marin Sun Farms (they're in the back), but only for the farmer's market, unlike Potter Farms. I like their stuff even more than the stuff from Potter Farms, though I shop at both. I think that their stuff is a little 'purer' than Potter farms - their beef is totally grass fed, whereas I think that the Potter Farms cows are grain fed part of the time...maybe I'm wrong on that. But I've been buying my beef, eggs, and now lamb from Marin Sun Farms, and buying bacon and other stuff from Potter. We're really lucky to have both of them.. > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi, Facing the Ferry building from Market, it's toward the left. Go in at the door near 's Refresher, then go straight down that hallway towards the water. Fairly new. I was just stunned to see all the signs saying " Potter Family pork, Potter family beef, " etc all at prices not too much more than buying and cooking it yourself. Ya Marin Sun Farms is good too, I buy eggs & other items from there. Recently they've started to sell sandwiches too. Potter Farms are not grain finished, all grass fed except for the pigs that get a variety of stuff. It is Niman that finishes on grain. Oh, the dilemma! I am so thankful to be living in the Bay Area. cheers, > Where is this at the Ferry Building - I'm there every Saturday for the > farmer's market? > > Have you ever tried the stuff from Marin Sun Farms (they're in the back), > but only for the farmer's market, unlike Potter Farms. Guest guest
Well, that's good to know about Potter...and I will definitely try that restaurant. I've actually been eating one of those Marin Sun Farm sandwiches for breakfast of late... > From: " jonathanpearl108 " <jp2@...> > Reply- > Date: Sun, 11 Jul 2004 20:47:07 -0000 > > Subject: Re: San Francisco NT restaurant > > Hi, > > Facing the Ferry building from Market, it's toward the left.
