Guest guest
greetings: i've been home-training for a while now with a NIR HEG system. although i've experienced some success with HEG, i've run into problems with excessive daydreaming during HEG sessions. To clarify, i quickly get bored with the repetition of Bioexplorer designs and find myself daydreaming for much of the HEG session. since daydreaming and lack of focus have been my primary ADHD issues since childhood, this seems counter-productive... what's interesting, is that i tend to do better (achieve higher segment HEG gain %)while daydreaming than when i'm focused on the BE design, which seems to reinforce my undesired daydreaming habit. i've tried switching up the designs for variety, and have tried designs which are focused on segment attention index %--neither strategies have helped much. one more note: i've experienced this same " bored into daydreaming " problem with EEG neurofeedback, with both home-based EEG training and training with a professional in an office environment. ideas or suggestions appreciated. Guest guest
It's interesting that you feel you do better while daydreaming. My son calls HEG " the relaxing brain training. " Once he fell asleep early in a short segment while training and I let him go on for a while and his HEG level increased the whole time, better than ever! I wonder if it's a brain style thing.
