Elaine,

I sprained my ankle years ago, and it was a good two years or so before the pain

stopped recurring. It always flared up if I walked on it too much. I wasn't

overweight back then, either. :) I also wasn't eating well at all nor did I

get any kind of physical therapy. Don't know if that would help the pain stay

away.

hmm, well i don't have joint pain in a general sense. I have a lingering

tendon problem in an ankle i sprained over a year ago that i keep

mini-spraining. Or maybe it's tendonitis. Whatever it is it's really bugging

me and not going away and has made me take up cycling over walking. Going

grain-free and low-carb (i'm no longer grain-free) didn't seem to make any

difference at all. I think it is weight related. It is ever so slowly

getting better, as long as i stay off it for long walks.

I sprained my ankle once and just WOULD NOT heal. Then I got an air cast ...

I was walking in 15 minutes. They work great! And you can reuse them

forever.
