Help w/ raspberry drink from NT

Hi All,

Just finished fermenting a batch of the raspberry drink from

Nourishing Traditions, and when I uncovered it found some mold growing

on top along with a thick white film. I skimmed, but am wondering if

it's okay to drink or should I discard and start again? Anyone have

any luck w/ that recipie?

Also, could one use a kefir starter for these lacto-fermented

beverages instead of whey?
