Guest guest
ok. i know a lot of people take supplements... i am not a big supplement type, though i have been convinced to take CLO regularly. i'm wondering if there's anything else that's critical...so i thought i'd put out the question: what's the one supplement that you can't live without? if you were stranded on a desert island, and you could only take one supplement with you (but you could be assured that otherwise, you'd be eating 100% WAPF food, including lots of lactofermentation and no grains), what would it be? -katja
Guest guest
For what it's worth, I take 1/2 t. each of clo (very high quality from radiant life) and butter oil (also from radiant life). I also take folic acid (cheap, 800mcg) every day and acerola powder when I have it. I'm not religious about WAP eating, though, as I eat out at restaurants pretty often, so I really feel that I need a little extra help. your favorite supplements? > ok. i know a lot of people take supplements... > i am not a big supplement type, though i have been convinced to take CLO > regularly. i'm wondering if there's anything else that's critical...so i > thought i'd put out the question: what's the one supplement that you can't > live without? if you were stranded on a desert island, and you could only > take one supplement with you (but you could be assured that otherwise, > you'd be eating 100% WAPF food, including lots of lactofermentation and no > grains), what would it be? > > -katja > > > > >
Guest guest
hmmm... for me the stranded on a deserrt island supplement would be a good mega dosed multi. I use Mega for Men from GNC. BUT... I would love to be able to store a small bottle of Magesium tablets and a small bottle of GSE in my pants pocket as well! thats what would be best for me! --- katja <katja@...> wrote: --------------------------------- ok. i know a lot of people take supplements... i am not a big supplement type, though i have been convinced to take CLO regularly. i'm wondering if there's anything else that's critical...so i thought i'd put out the question: what's the one supplement that you can't live without? if you were stranded on a desert island, and you could only take one supplement with you (but you could be assured that otherwise, you'd be eating 100% WAPF food, including lots of lactofermentation and no grains), what would it be? -katja
Guest guest
Wow! I just opened my own post and need to apologize for the typos. I guess I have to slow down and run spell check on even the shortest emails! By the way, that last supplement for a desert island was Magnesium. sorry- --- Fetter <wolfmark1@...> wrote: --------------------------------- hmmm... for me the stranded on a deserrt island supplement would be a good mega dosed multi. Guest guest
Taking now with the best effects for me of any supplement combos calcium citrate with D, omega 3 fatty acids fish oil both Trader Joe's, zinc picolinate, l-glutamine (2nd heal leaky gut month after gf this time ), olive leaf extract (for any mold, fungus, candida from grain eating, old high carb diet) Last week added Argentinian beef liver tablets for A and B's (b alone makes me nauseous). Non food allergies seem to like the liver. Wanita
Guest guest
I take a lot of extra calcium and magnesium ... I get tetany when I don't which is a bad sign! I don't seem to absorb it well from foods (though I haven't come up with a good fermented bone mixture ... that would be better). I also take Vit B because it makes me feel noticeably better, and dried anchovies (which I consider a supplement, they are soooo concentrated with good stuff). I person can get all their vites from food if they have a good diet and good digestion ... my diet is pretty good now but I'm pretty sure my digestion isn't ideal (or else I utilize calcium in a way that isn't ideal). There is also the issue that in our modern diet we don't eat bones much ... whole anchovies have bones, which is good, but for most foods, we take the bones out. Carnivores usually munch on bones, and meat digestion seems to take a lot of calcium, so our modern diet may be off in that respect. -- Heidi Jean

No, I haven't had any testing done that way, tho it is likely a good idea. I'm getting a lot of sun exposure now though ... at least during the summer (it's a short summber ...). -- Heidi Jean >
Guest guest
Can't you OD on omega 3 with that much fish oil? How much was it to have your D levels tested?
