Guest guest
Today is day 7 on my second attempted batch of ginger beer. The first batch got spots of mold on the glass above the bug (none on the bug) so I threw it out and started over. I'm hoping to have a couple of gallons to take with us on vacation. I'm using the NT recipe. This time I have a bit of a film over the top. There is a tiny, tiny bit of mold on the rim of the jar in one little spot. The bug fizzes. There have been little white things floating in it for several days. No mold at all elsewhere, and the little bit there is just appeared this morning. Is it worth saving? Is there supposed to be film on it? What about the little white floaters? Thanks in advance, Tracey
