hello to everyone

my name is susan (suz) and i've just ordered my copy of nourishing

traditions, it should be here in a week or so. (hooray!)

i've been studying a lot at the w.a.price foundation website over the

past 6 weeks or so. learning a lot. (also scanning the posts here

when i have a little time, but haven't read a whole lot yet)

my current question is: is anyone familiar with bob's red mill dried

coconut flakes? i just bought a bag, the only ingredient is coconut.

these flakes are delicious for snacking. (i also am in the midst of

challenging candida and working it out of me!!) coconut is so good

for candida, and its a good fat source, so my intuition would say

that this is a good snack to have around.

any wisdom from the group?

thanks so much and i look forward to becoming an active participant

here! ~ suz :)

Hey Suz...welcome.

I for one ADORE coconut. Coconut oil, Coconut Cream, Coconut Milk, and dried

coconut.

Today my kids and I had c.cream mixed with c.shreds and dipped ripe strawberries

in it.

I usually buy mine at the co-op..(natural foods store)
