Ruins the drive train of cars. So be careful not to drive in deep water if you can avoid it. Yes, some areas tend to flood. Make sure your windshield wipers are in excellent shape or you won't be able to see. Have a spare set in your trunk. Get a few umbrellas unless you want to be drenched. Find in a dollar store. Of course that will probably identify you as an outsider. Ha! I looked up places to find raw milk products, etc. Don't remember where that website was, but there are several places within an hour or two driving distance from Houston. My son works (mechanic) in Houston and lives outside the city with wife and son. Get a fan to blow on you, even though you will likely have air- conditioning. Get a swim suit. If you live in an apartment complex, most have a pool. Enjoy. People are down to earth. Ann > hi!
