Guest guest Posted July 24, 2004 Report Share Posted July 24, 2004 Well, after spending a week of chaos the family matter didn't happen (which involved surgery to someone I'd have to help, I don't want to get into details for the sake of their privacy). Anyway, back to the fray ... ! On the up side ... I sliced my prosciutto and it came out great. I also made a batch of kimchi out of collard greens, and I have to say it's the best kimchi I've made. I love collards! Of all our garden, the collards came out the best. They are HUGE. The mustard bolted, and the cabbages got huge and split (and the slugs like them), but the collards are huge and beautiful and the bugs don't seem to like them. They seem to tolerate a wide range of temperatures and water conditions ... if it rains a lot or if it doesn't rain, either way they are ok with it. -- Heidi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
