delicious! It cooked up so quickly, and it was so smooth and creamy.

I added some fresh raw milk and maple syrup at the end. Mmmm.

I feel the same way about NT-style oatmeal; it was the very first

thing I tried based on NT and for a few months I ate it everyday,

usually plain and cold as part of packed meals. Yummmmmmm. One of

my all-time favorite foods. I used whole oats ( " groats " ) and put

them in my food processor giving a mix of different sized particles,

aiming for " cracked oats " size, but it was the best I could do

without a grain mill...

But I'm really writing to ask: what is a " 4x4 " woman???? I'm stumped.

Sorry, this comes from my parochial school days, Sister Eleanor was 4' tall and

4' around and very cranky. So everyone called her 4 x 4. This kitchen helper

was the same...basically a short chubby jolly older woman. Hope that doesn't

offend anyone...to me it was a cute way of describing her.

Did you follow the recipe in NT?? What type of oats did you use

(i.e. rolled, whole, cut, etc)?

Thanks for the answers. It sounds really yummy!

Yup! I followed the recipe in NT, using rolled oats and whey. Then added

vanilla, a tiny bit of raw milk and maple syrup after I cooked it in the

morning.
