Iodine status by country

I just read a fascinating article about iodine, fluoride, and the

problems their antagonistic relationship can cause. In the article,

there was a link

(http://www.people.virginia.edu/~jtd/iccidd/mi/cidds.html) to a site

that included charts that showed iodine status by country.

Go to that link, then click on the link for Asia and the Pacific. It

includes Japan, which is one of the few high-iodine-status countries

in the world (Japan is shown in blue). Then compare the other parts

of the world.

I guess you can get away with eating soy foods if you also eat lots

of iodine- and vitamin-A-rich seafood, huh?

The fascinating article was at this URL:

Hi Dedy,

If you're not reading from the site, the first link may have the brackets caught

in it. The second one needs an 'l' on the end.

Try this:

http://www.people.virginia.edu/~jtd/iccidd/mi/cidds.html

http://64.177.90.157/pfpc/html/green_tea___.html

Cheers,

Tas'.

Thanks Tas'... it worked just fine...

I've immediately forwarded the article to a friend who drinks ONLY green tea yet

takes medication for hypothyroidism.
