Pete,I tried to make my first TCL assestment process to a friend:(F,C,P,T,O) * (eyes-closed, eyes-open, task) = 15 measurementBy mistake I have done all measurement in one file of 15 min. Before prociding to proces the data as described in your documents, I would like to edit this .bxs file and split it in 5 files of 3 min.How to do that in BioExplorer? If BioExplorer does not allow that, is there any other .bxs editor that allows to manipulate the waveform (cut, past, amplify, etc.)?Thanks, ilario----- Mensaje original ----De: Van Deusen

As for cleaning the electrodes, simply dip them several times into a cup of very hot water (not quite boiling), and they will be clean. They will last much longer if you do this right after each session. PeteI am trying to use it, it seems straight forward, I will send you some measurements so you can check if the USB-Serial adaptor is working properly. Sometimes I see some flat periods, maybe it is due the adaptor overloaded. I tried to put the electrode on my front, where there are no hair (reference and ground to the ears). I don't see high amplitudes at 50/60 Hz (which is good,) but I see high amplitudes at 1 Hz, is that artefact? Is it due to muscle tension, to bad electrodes connection or to electronic interference?I would like to edit the EEG waveform, e.g. for removing artefacts (e.g. adaptor overload, eyes blinking) directly from the .bxs. Is that possible with BioExplorer? Could you tell me the format of the waveform

(sample frequency, bit format (e.g. 16bits little Indian) and how is interleaved in case of two channels recordings? Last practical question: once I finished to use the device, shall I clean the electrodes from the Ten20, or can I let part of the Ten20 there and reuse it the next session?-- Van Deusenpvdtlc@...http://www.brain-trainer.com305/433-3160The Learning Curve, Inc.

Pete,

in deed I

have done these measurement to a friend just to make some experience.

Thanks,

first I will try by myself to split the data from the .txt file generated by the

“Export†function in BioExplorer and then give them to the excel template.

By the way

I find that it’s quite limiting the fact that BioExplorer does not allow

editing their .bxs waveform. Do they plan to add this feature? Is it possible

to know the .bxs waveform format (Fs, sample formatting, interleaving, headers,

etc.)?

Does BioEra

use the same acquisition format? Is it possible to edit it using BioEra?

Thanks,

ilario

Ilario,You can't do it in BioReview. You'll have to open the file in Excel and create 5 separate files there with the proper format. I generally recommend to people that they plan on doing 2-3 assessments before they get good assessment data. If you really want to use this file, send it to me as an attachment. I'll first verify that you have a decent signal and, if so, I'll split it for you (one time) into the five files.

Send it to me at pvdtlcgmail (DOT) com (the .bxs file) as an attachment.PeteOn Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 7:15 AM, Ilario Remi <amore_perro@ yahoo.es> wrote:
