Guest guest
Take a look in the juice aisle in the supermarket. You will find small glass jars of juice, usually apple juice. If you don't want the juice that's fine but the small jars work great for milk. I take a gallon of milk and divide it into the smaller jars putting all but one in the back of the fridge to keep them cool. The one in front is for using now. When it is empty I dig out the next. When all are empty they all get filled. Works well for us but then we only have one eight year old. We keep the " in use " jar on the door so it's easy to get to. Belinda Thanks for the good suggestion! I was a bit annoyed when Trader Joes switched its organic juices to plastic jugs -- we used to get them in nice glass jars. I keep thinking that I need opaque ones, but I guess inside the frig is dark most of the time, and as long as I don't leave milk out in the room too long, that little amount of light won't have much an opportunity to damage the vitamins even in clear jars.
