Guest guest
Gretchen, Sounds like Carl offered a solution for you, but I thought I'd warn you that even once you get the system to recognize the hasp, you might run into trouble if you try to run BE soon after booting up the system. I quite often get this error message when first trying to open BE. It turns out that McAfee is running in the background and blocks access for a minute or two, but after it's finished, the system will recognize the hasp and work fine. Until I realized what was going on, I had several panicky moments thinking that my hasp had somehow broken. Now, I know that the solution is to remove the hasp and wait awhile. Thought you might want to know this for future reference... Tamera
Guest guest
Hi All I installed bioexplorer. I had a problem with it recogonizing the Hasp as I have Vista 64 bit. I searched on this forum and downloaded the driver that was suggested below, but it still will not open Bioexplorer due to the Hasp not being found. I have restarted the computer. I have waited 10 minutes before I opened BE. I reinstalled the driver. I reinstalled BE. but still will not work. Thanks Barbra > > > Hello, friends - > > > > Just got a new laptop with (sigh) Vista, and it won't recognize the > > hasp. > > > > Any advice for those that have " made the transition " to Vista?? > > > > I was unsuccessful finding a solution in past posts. > > > > Thanks! > > Gretchen > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > >
