Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this list. I have just read Nutrition and Physical Degeneration and am stunned! I have been on a very healthy (pro-price) diet, including raw goats milk, and pasture-fed butter, prior to reading the book. After reading his book I am wondering if I could use even more butter (I have intense cravings for ice cream) and add cod liver oil to my diet. However, I am nervous about Vit D toxicity. Mercola.com says you should test first, I do get a good amount of sun (live in AZ) but even the 'primitive' people got a lot of sun and still had the deficiency (right?). I see information about Vit A and am comfortable with that, although I have some minor liver 'problems' (according to a holistic MD) due to lots of medication (in the past, I no longer take any meds), my tests results are within main stream medical norms. I have a history of depression, aggression/irritability, gluten intolerance, IBS, eye problems, just to name a few. I also have a child with asthma/allergies, controlled by homeopathic meds and another with cavaty and white blotchy teeth. Anyone have any input on this? Thanks A Mom
