Hmmm ... well, I don't actually have a *recipe* for it (tho there are lots floating around the Internet, type " Ranch dressing recipe " into google). The best one I've had was a mix of spices someone got at a local street fair. I usually just mix some dried parsley, granulated garlic, granulated onion, salt, cayenne, and whatever seems interesting into some kefiili cream (most folks use mayonaise though) and water or vinegar to thin it. Here is a standard type of recipe though. You can mix up the dry part in advance and keep it in a jar to use as needed. http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe/getrecipe.zsp?id=46607 1 cup <http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe//library/getentry.zsp?recipe=46607 & id=159>mayo\ nnaise (not salad dressing) 1 cup <http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe//library/getentry.zsp?recipe=46607 & id=143>butt\ ermilk 1/4 teaspoon <http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe//library/getentry.zsp?recipe=46607 & id=501>garl\ ic powder 1/4 teaspoon <http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe//library/getentry.zsp?recipe=46607 & id=502>onio\ n powder 1/2 teaspoon <http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe//library/getentry.zsp?recipe=46607 & id=171>drie\ d parsley flakes 1 teaspoon <http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe//library/getentry.zsp?recipe=46607 & id=52>dried chives Making your own saves money too. It really is best using kefiili cream, or yogurt, or some probiotic thing, rather than commercial mayo (I'm biased against commercial stuff, you can tell!). If you have probiotics in it, you don't have to worry so much about food poisoning or if it gets left out, and it keeps better. -- Heidi Jean
