Guest guest
The NIH did hold it's conference on Celiac, and has posted it's findings and recommendation. This is a BIG DEAL ... it means that there will be more publicity for gluten intolerance, and the tests will be a lot easier to get. Most doctors still think it is extremely rare and never found in adults, and have no idea how many problems gluten intolerance (and likely other food intolerances) actually cause (autoimmune disorders such as lupus and FMS, mental disorders such as depression and schizophrenia, and immune system problems such as frequent infections and cancer). Anyway, you can read their stuff at: http://consensus.nih.gov/cons/118/118cdc_intro.htm -- Heidi Jean
