Hello All,

My name is Holly. I am a 28 yr. old stay-at-home mom

to two little ones. Hannah is nearly 3 years old, and Eliana

is 10 months old (still nursing). We live in San .

I've been lurking for a few months, and really enjoying learning

from all of the posts. Here are a few questions...

1. Any opinions out there on using the Azomite clay powder as a cheap mineral

supplement (as stated in NT)? What is the best dosage? What is the mineral

breakdown of the Azomite clay?

2. Does anybody take Apple Cider vinegar (Bragg's) everday for

minerals/metabolism?

Is the good for the body?

3. What is the best CLO out there? What is the correct dosage for

pregnant/nursing moms

and for infant/toddlers?

Thank you so much!

God bless,

Holly

I used to take it, but kefir beer works better for me (tastier too). I think

it helps with digestion, if you have low HCL or an upset tummy. As

for minerals, there are just as many minerals in the same amount

of apple juice (minerals are elements, and they don't change form ...

fermenting doesn't affect mineral content unless you ferment ground

bones, in which case you leach the calcium out of the bones, ditto

for sesame seeds, it makes the minerals more available ... but that doesn't

hold for apple juice, I think).

For metabolism, the best thing is coconut oil. Vinegar might help a little ...

it DID wake me up in the morning as a drink. The thing is, it's really, really

easy to make your own vinegar, esp. if you have some kefir grains,

and my own vinegar tastes better too, so why should I buy it? The Bragg's

struck me as pretty pricey for what you get.

My family takes Blue Ice from Green Pastures. The adults take 1/2 teaspoon,

the children (3 & 1 1/2) take 1/4 teaspoon. We don't take it daily, every

other day or every third day.
