After all the reading I've been doing lately, including " The > Untold Story of Milk, " this little doozy just jumped out at me. > I've not yet heard that England went through the same sort of > regulation at the US--it must have happened? > I can´t get raw milk here for love nor money. I can order raw goats milk on the internet which I have to buy frozen. It´s also hellishly expensive I think some people in the south can get it, unfortunatley, that´s to far away for me Jo
Guest guest
Hi a, Its great to hear from you, after such a long time, and that you are doing no worse (keeping the status quo is good in my book). Now, about that dream you had: past concerns or " psychic prediction? " The mind works in funny ways and sometimes acts upon things that the body is silently telling us. Otherwise, I am doing great, and wish that you are able to continue doing what's been working for you. Happy start to spring (as the snow comes down in NY!) ________________________________ From: a <paulastuhlman@...> achalasia Sent: Thursday, March 19, 2009 11:55:55 PM Subject: Blast from the past Hello everyone!! My name is a and I live in St. Louis. I haven't posted here in over a year, but I like to pop in on occasion and see how everyone is doing. My surgery was back in Nov 2005. Life is treating me pretty good post-op. I still have to drink a TON of water when I eat, but the food goes down, and no more regurgitation (sp). I had a dream the other night that I regurgitated in my sleep. I woke up so fast and checked my pillow with fright that it was back again, but it was just a horrible dream. Good to see and Lovely Ann are still posting, you guys are awesome. I am wondering if my myotomy buddies are still out there.... Jo..... .....can you hear me now??? Anyhoo, I just wanted to say hello. Hope all is well a in St. Louis
Guest guest
Hi a, It's great to hear from you and to know that you are doing so well. I hope that this continues for many many years. I think that the dream was just your memories coming back from the " bad old days " and was a totally normal thing to dream about. I often dream that I am still taking my High School exams. I am also very relieved when I wake up and find out it's just a horrible dream. I don't think for one moment that it's a premonition. Sometimes when you ARE doing well, it's a bit frightening to simply accept the fact. You can feel as if you are being TOO relaxed about the situation. Maybe you and I should simply ENJOY the situation while it lasts and believe that it will last for ever. Why shouldn't it? Especially if we take good care of ourselves. Just for my regular sermon on tea - everybody talks about drinking loads of water. Have you actually tried tea? It softens the food and helps it down beautifully. I have even taken to taking my flask of tea to restaurants just in case it's not readily available. You learn to look after yourself better as you get a bit older and you care less about what other people think. It's very liberating. Carry on the good work a, and I hope that you will keep in touch with us once in a while. It was great to hear from you. Lots of love for the future, from Ann xxx From: a <paulastuhlman@...> Subject: Blast from the past achalasia Date: Friday, 20 March, 2009, 3:55 AM Hello everyone!!
