Guest guest Posted August 28, 2001 Report Share Posted August 28, 2001 So much to respond to, so little time.... Glad to hear we're all feeling like hurling after workouts today. I think mine's because I inhaled 60 oz. of water right before I got on the elliptical trainer though. My BIL got a wild hair about going to Denny's at 6am on Saturday before a 60 mile bike ride. Big goof. Needless to say, he got picked on a little bit because of the after effects of that. Personally, a big glass of water and a vitamin is my idea of breakfast before a ride anyway (which isn't exactly the best idea either...) Someone mentioned leaving MM magazines out; I definitely keep them by my weights at home. There's one in there that talks about holding a plate straight out in front of you for 2 minutes and it doesn't have to be a heavy weight at all. Well, I did it last night but with dumb bells in each hand and I tell ya, that's a killer! My arms were literally shaking by the time the 2 minutes were up. Amy/Leigh, sounds like you had a great time this morning! I fall into the lame-o/no way can I get my tail outta bed that early group. I do on the weekends, but not during the week! Dorothy, I've the same that soy helps with TOM too. Haven't tried it though. Since I know I'm prone to eating every carb in sight during that time, I do keep some low-carb bars around to counter-balance the inevitable...
