I'll read the links, but basically, this is one of those questions that is easily answered by experimentation! If the FF method works for diabetics, then the current studies will show if it does or not. And the WD may or may not be low carb, depending on the person. We argued a lot about the WD and my answer was: try it. I tried it, it worked really well for me, but didn't for some other people. But I don't have nearly enough theoretical knowledge to say *why* it works for me, and it works far better than lowcarb diets did (and I have done them in the past). Anyway, I really admire folks like Schwartzbein who just start tracking *what works " . So, if you try this and track the results, you can inform the rest of us. Or inform us if it doesn't work. Basically all the literature I've read before says the WD should NOT work, that " small evenly spaced meals " are the way to go.
