Pan-frying in butter is WAY more tasty.

I broil mine sometimes. I like the inside rare, but somehow totally

rare steak just isn't something I can get used to. I also use

a cast iron pan with ribs to sear them ... it's easier to clean than

the broiler pan, but both work well.

The other reason I cook them though is because I never think

ahead enough to thaw them ... just throw the frozen steak under

the broiler, and by the time the outside is hot the inside is unfrozen.
